How to Overcome Negative Self-Talk and Boost Your Confidence in 30 Days

Can I be real with you? 

Nothing about my business is aimed at women who aren't in their power. My clients are not the type of women who are victims. Even on the days where they hate their lives and can't see the light, the women in my word turn into beast and they fight like hell for their lives. 

With that said, these women don't have the average negative self-talks with themselves. 

Their negative self-talks are sneakier. 

They don't show up as obvious as they do for other women and that's largely due to the fact, that these women know a lot. They know a lot about self help, they might have strong faith, and they might have an overall positive outlook of life. 

But deep down, they're still operating under old programming. There is still a part of them saying "you can't do this," "It's too hard," "you don't have what it takes" 

And like I said...it's sneaky about it. 

Instead of an obvious monster, it might come out looking like a friend. 

And it might sound more like this: 

"Self-care is important, just relax and catch up on that show you love...again"

"You're not in the vibe, just relax and meditate, release and don't take action yet" 

"What if you go and learn aaaallll these other things first, get this degree, or this course, or this thing and then when you're truly ready you can go for the thing you want. Do things the right way" 

Believe it or not, all the examples above can be an example of self-sabotage. If you are not actively doing the work that you want to do to get what you want, then you need to take a deep deep look at your thoughts. 

Because your thoughts fuel your emotions and your emotions fuel you actions and if your actions are not leading you where you want to go, then there is a disconnect. 

So how do you change that? 

Here's a really easy 3-step process I like to use to quickly shift my confidence. 

1. Dig into your thoughts. If your thoughts feel obviously negative turn that frustration into fascination. Why are they showing up? What are they trying to protect you from? Are they trying to punish you? Are they a result of your current subconscious programming? 

And if they don't feel obviously negative, then dig deeper. Are they masking themselves as good when they are in fact based on negativity. Dig deeper and when you find the truth ask yourself the same questions. 

2. Change the meaning of the thoughts. Journal on this until you change its meaning. If your thought is "no matter what I do, nothing works" change that into is that true? And even if it is what haven't I tried yet? And why don't I want the other things to work? 

Challenge yourself. Argue for your dreams- Not for your limitations. 

3.Finally, overpower the thought. Once you did the work to change it, lock it in by creating the opposite thought. So for the example above, it would be..."Everything I do works" and feel that in your body.  

It helps to tap your body or stretch as you say this affirmation. Actively work on remembering the times things have worked for you. Imagine all the other times it will work. Create that believe in your body.
